Other sources: The use of Paris was favoured by the french court, and widely accepted all over France. It is therefore no indication of the location of the owner, nor of the place of production. Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris has a large collection of Hours from Paris, f.ex. BN lat. 921, BN lat. 925, BN lat. 1175, BN lat. 1401, etc. (see V. Leroquais: Les Heures manuscrits).
