Luc.I47Et exultavit spiritus meus in deo salutari meo.
Luc.I48Quia respexit humilitatem ancille sue : Ecce enim ex hoc beatam me dicent omnes generationes.
Luc.I49Quia fecit michi magna qui potens est : et sanctum nomen eius.
Luc.I50Et misericordia eius a progenie in progenies : timentibus eum.
Luc.I51Fecit potentiam in brachio suo : dispersit superbos mente cordis sui.
Luc.I52Deposuit potentes de sede, et exaltavit humiles.
Luc.I53Esurientes implevit bonis : et divites dimisit inanes.

Magnificat is the mandatory canticle concluding Vespers in all offices of the Virgin Mary. It takes an antiphon - the full text is found before the final collect(s).
